Hi there,
Thanks for creating such a useful tool.
I was wondering if it is possible to grade:
data validations: if I want to ask a student to create a scenario selector
dynamic array formulas: if I want a student to use SEQUENCE to create the series 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, both the intended answer and =h22+1 in the example below are awarded marks
Data validation can be graded by coloring the cell light blue as though it were a constant. I do this all the time and find that it is a really good way to help students stay on track while being intentional about their solution path.
Dynamic arrays are tricky. I don't know of a way to stop the =h22+1 workaround from being graded correctly. You could create a multiple choice question using data validation which encourages them to recognize the dynamic array as the best solution for the sequence they are about to create. If they still choose to create the sequence the old fashioned way then that's their loss.
